Confusion Is A Bad Thing

I knew there was something I was supposed to do today that I had been forgetting to do… Write a blog post! :0

Since I returned from my trip I am having to re-adjust to life on the home front and I didn’t realize how foot loose and fancy free being away from all my regular responsibilities was. Now its back to real life, no more living in a hotel room where someone picked up after me and cleaned up after me and made it all seem so seamless.

I’ve been doing well with my reading. Still on the same book – State of Wonder – and it seems to be picking up a bit. The story is interesting I just don’t know why it’s taking me so long to get through it though, but I trudge on.

The 9-5 day job is slightly more bearable because I know I get to work on my exit strategy (my own business) when I get home from that one, and let’s be honest, the 9-5 is funding my little start-up… Hee hee hee 🙂 The good thing is that I don’t hate it with a vengeance, I only slightly dislike on a lot of days; I actually am okay with it on most days, well, on some days. The bad thing is that I really do not envision myself still being at it by the end of the year, even if that means just walking away with nothing in hand. I’ve done it before and I’ll do it again if need be.

So as the littlest Von Trapp girl once sang… “the sun has gone to bed and so must I…”
