Just Half An Hour

If I could switch blogs with any blogger for a week, right now I think I would choose to switch with Leo Babauta of Zen Habits. Why? Because I recently discovered that blog and I absolutely love the simplicity of it. I have visited it a couple of times and quite frankly I can’t tell you how I end up there because.

The site is so nice and clean and simple, the blogger just simply writes and there are no distractions whatsoever on the site – no menu, no ads, and unless you look closely enough you’ll even miss the links to other articles which are quietly embedded in the blog posts. Leo is also very generous, he makes everything, and I mean everything he writes freely available for use however the reader sees fit or desires.

That type of generosity is admirable.

So why would I choose to switch blogs with him for a week? Because right now he is where I want to be. I would like to be a prolific writer. I would like my writings to be calm and serene but convey loads of value to the reader. I don’t want to ramble on and really not be saying anything, I want my words to be weighty and relevant and I want them to be few.
